The Sony PXW-FX9V is a full-frame professional camcorder that is compatible with Sony E-Mount lenses; this allows users to mount a variety of high-quality optics to produce stunning 4K footage. This powerful, professional video camera utilises a 6K full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor, which can be downsampled to sublime, cinematic 4K results. As well as its general edge in terms of imaging, the larger surface area of this image sensor provides the ability to produce a greater depth of field and utilise a wider angle of view. A range of output and input options are available in the FX9V, while other key features include adjustable frame rates, 15 stops of dynamic range and a fast hybrid AF system.
